Our story began in 1988 right here in Kirkland, WA. Founded by my dad, Jack Frasl, this store is more than just a business—it's a legacy fueled by a lifelong passion for stones.
It all started with a spark, back when Dad received his first rock as a paperboy. That humble beginning ignited a journey that led him to open Earthlight, laying the foundation for what would become a cherished family tradition.
Alongside his second wife, Colleen, Dad authored three books over the years—a true labor of love, with each book taking about three years to complete. Their fourth and final book, Crystalline Communion 2000, combined their wisdom and insights, offering a deeper understanding of the stones we cherish.
In 2009, Dad passed away, leaving behind a rich legacy and a deep love for Earth’s treasures. Today, I proudly continue his mission, sharing my passion for stones with you all. Nature’s wonders are endless, and we believe in celebrating and cherishing every facet of this incredible world.
